About Wellington Warm Place in Somerset

All across the UK cost of living rises are causing households to struggle with paying bills, heating homes and eating well. Wellington Warm Place is a weekly initiative led by Wellington Baptist Church, with the support of volunteers and the local council, aiming to provide a safe, warm place for people and families to come together, share a meal and support each other.

We provide: hot/cold drinks; snacks; meals; toiletries basket; newspapers; wifi.

Our dedicated and friendly team of volunteers looks forward to welcoming you!

WHEN: Thursdays from 9.30am to 7.00pm (from October until March) and 11.30am to 2pm (from March until October)

WHERE: Wellington Baptist Church Hall, South Street, Wellington TA21 8NS, Somerset (Opposite Oxfam)

PARKING: South Street Car Park is directly behind the church hall, with pedestrian access to the church grounds.

BUS STOP: the nearest bus stop is located on the High Street, a 3-5 minute walk away.

ACCESSIBILITY: the hall is accessible-friendly and more information can be found (add link)
